This course is open to all Officials who would like to learn more about safeguarding in tennis.
In this course you will learn:
- The different types of abuse
- What you should do if you see or suspect that a person is being, or likely to be, abused
- How to safeguard yourself
- How to deal with difficult situations
- Where to go for help and advice
The course consists of a course presentation, audio and a quiz. It has been approved by the LTA for 2 CPD licence credits upon successful completion.
The Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) in collaboration with Core Learning Services provides online educational courses for coaches, officials and other tennis stakeholders. Content is hosted by Core Learning Services but developed, delivered and authored by the LTA.
The LTA is the national governing body for tennis in Great Britain. Our mission is to get more people play tennis more often. The LTA focuses on a number of key areas of work which include coach development, competition and major events, high performance support, officiating and participation support among others.
The LTA run a number of coach education events including their flagship CPD event the National Coaches Conference, in addition to forums, safeguarding courses and online courses. The LTA also run courses for officials.
